OK this is a shamelessly begging post but what the hey!
DD (nearly 5) and I are running (well, walking) the Race for Life in about three weeks. For various reasons I have not had a chance to go on the hunt for sponsors so I am in a panic.
Well I know lots of other MN-ers do RFL (and if I hear about it I'll hopefully sponsor you too) but I thought I would ask if anyone would like to lob some dosh in the direction of cancer research. It's a cause close to my heart as both my parents had cancer (dad died before the children were born 
). DD is very excited about doing the race, remains to be seen how well she'll manage (I forsee piggybacks at an early stage!)
I know I don't know you all, but I have met some of you and "know" others in a cyber way. So maybe if you feel you know me at all, read my advice, launghed at my jokes, etc etc, you could just drop a quid or so in the pot.
It's all on-line so I'd be grateful for anything you can do to help.
