because of that playhouse. it was delivered this morning, the driver parked across 3 empty spaces which are outside mine and my neighbours home. neighbour comes out ranting and raving because one of their carers is due in any moment and 'needs' to get in (2 other empty spaces on my other neighbours side btw, so out of 7 spaces, only 2 were being used). the neighbours dont go out till 8.40 and it was only 7.30am. the man was just unlaoding a playhouse, i wasnt inviting him in for tea and toast or anything. I have to say the de;ivery driver stood his ground and refused to move. neighbour went into his home in a right strop, and i muttered 'oh just f off'.

i am fed up of him and him being precious over the spaces out front.

Feelings probably exacerbated by yesterday's little spat over the playhouse, no doubt.

Hope your girls enjoy their new house.

desperateSCOUSEwife · 20/04/2006 09:29

was going to say
you must be still touchy over the playhouse LOL Grin

suzywong · 20/04/2006 09:32

dog poo in an envelope and put it through his letter box, on fire

as we used to do in leafy North London

misdee · 20/04/2006 09:33

no, iys him. its about his obsession with the parking spaces. the 3 drives are outside his but we use them. they also have a huuge driveway which can fit another 3 cars on. the one time i asked them to move a car off my single solitary soace their reply was 'but their in a wheelchair' yes, but i have peter with me who had just been discharged and could barely walk from our space to the bungalow, so do you really expect him to walk from one round the corner (they were havign a party and had used their 3 spaces, 2 on their drive, mine and all the other spare spaces). he just drives me mad! arrrrrrgh. i cant wait till peter is well enough after tranplant so we can move away.

get a disabled space allocated

misdee · 20/04/2006 09:35

we are trying to. OT has suggested it because of dd2, but when peter comes home i ame getting it. its a parking bay. its off the road, but not attached to the bungalow.

oh i wish they would disappear.

desperateSCOUSEwife · 20/04/2006 09:37

just get in touch with council and they will do it
very easy and quick to do tbh

misdee · 20/04/2006 09:37

they have a disabled bay, but it wasnt being used. its a white one, so cortesy, but he repainted it in yellow which i am sure is naughty. their kids werent beingpicked up till 8.40 so the bay wasdnt in use. (they have 3 disabled kids so i should feel a bit softer towards them but they annoy me with their attitudes)

OP posts:
desperateSCOUSEwife · 20/04/2006 09:38

you can park over a disabled spot as long as it is not an obstruction

MadameDeMars · 20/04/2006 09:40

suzywong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shock No wonder prices went up when you left! lol

misdee · 20/04/2006 09:41

at that point it wasnt. the van was on the rd, was blocking 3 bays, but they werent going out. their vans were still behind their closed gates.

how irritating, we have neighbours that get possesive over 'their' parking spaces, id hire 4 transits, park in front of their drives, and go out for the day Grin

SparklyGothKat · 20/04/2006 12:05

He is annoying, I have pull up on on of the 3 bays (not the disabled one, though techically I could Grin) just to drop something into Misdee and he comes out all huffy...

misdee · 20/04/2006 13:18

he is a royal pain in the bum.

Let us know the address and we can arrange a rota of people to drive up, park for 5 minutes outside his house and wait for him to come out. It'll keep him busy. Bless him - he clearly has nothing better to do all day, it's our civic duty to keep him entertained.

misdee · 21/04/2006 18:59

lol itll be fun.
