Wtf has happened to our water?????

Just been doing the baby bottles, went to get some cold water to put in the steriliser and something strsnge has happened to it! It comes out pure white... fizzes a bit and 'smokes' like an effervesent (sp) tablet then goes clear...but all round the glass where the bubbles are stuck to the glass looks a bit crystally!?!?! What's that all about??

Ring the water company.

Sounds like a problem with pipe pressure.

Ours does that if the water has been off - the first few times we use it afterwards it spits and fizzes.
