the surgery still havent contacted us, was thinking about ringing them this week but have suddenly realised our holiday is only 2 wks away....should i just wait until after the holiday now? Will it matter if i take her to spain without her having MMR?

thanks

I would leave it til after

I don't think it will matter either way! All it means is if she is exposed to Measles Mumps or Rubella she won't have any immunity but the risk will be the same at home or in Spain. I would ring the surgery and find out when your daughter is going to have her jab (just in case she has been missed!) but I wouldn't worry about whether you fit it in before or after your holiday. Just go and have a great time! :)

I would wait till after as well. DD was called for hers just befoe we went on holiday and so left it although she was 13 months.

Hiya Greyriver
We are off on holiday next week and have been advised (by the HV!) to now wait until we get back as some babies come down with fever/slight reaction up to a week after the injection and don't fancy taking an unhappy baby on holiday.

I'd wait until afterwards now. Dd reacted to hers and was poorly for a good fortnight or more. Wouldn't want tot rsik that if I was going on holiday.
