arrgghhh!! solicitor just phoned, im moving in a week and a bit, help..my brain has scrambled!.

its all happened so quickly, i had to sell my house for financial reasons, couldnt afford another round here so decided to move near dm in wales, sold my house on first day, found a house really quickly, solicitor just phoned and said my vendor wants to complete on april 27th!! havent even signed contracts yet...tell me what i have to do now before i move as ive gone into system overload!

can I just say fantastic news? Even if you will be running around like a headless chicken for the next few weeks?

New start etc.

PS - How is your health?

We exchanged last thursday and are moving this friday 21st Start packing!!!!!!Everytime I think I've got somewhere more crap appears Also start informing people you are moving as some things take a while to sort.Broadband will take 2 weeks to be connected at new address so will MN'less which is probably a good thing!Get boxes and chuck out junk I haev been packing clothes as soon as they are washed and dried and we all have one outfit each which I keep washing and drying.Start eating all food and don't buy any more Makes for some interesting combos or if you are like me a lot of meals out!

Don't panic.

Contact a removal firm/hire a firm and get it booked - it will be busy just before the long weekend.
sort out some boxes - try Homebase or McDonalds - apparently they do good ones...?
start sorting out drawers, throwing stuff out and packing.
get change of address form from Post Office to forward mail.
List people/companies you need to contact so you can tell them you have moved!

Luckyt you am currently waiting to hear from my solictor about exchanging/completing. it is supposed to be the 28th April!

i got a quote from pickfords to do pack and move, with 4 kids on my own i cant do without that service!
dm was going to book it and pay for it, but shes on holiday in the states, she wont be back till sunday, so i cant book my removal service! blimin eck, will have to ring her in america!.

LGJ-its the person im buying from..everyone in the chain has always said they wanted end of april but because id not even signed contrsacts i assumed that the date would be near end of may.
the solicitor has just phoned and said that the people buying from me, want 3rd may which is better as it gives more time, but still only 2 weeks! i said id rather 3rd may too.

take it you mean dh??!!, no nothing yet. we are still seperated, he is waiting for one of the rental properties attached to his place of work to free up, i think, we have talked more though, he admitted he is depressed which is something i guess, but dm says he seems happier in his new job.

still waiting for solicitor to ring with regards to my offer of 3rd may.
