End of Lent and chocolate fast....

Hooray ! I have given up chocolate for Lent and it's almost over !! what will be my first taste of chocolate after 46 long days ?

I highly recommend Marks and Spencers berry eggs - one white chocolate with strawberries, one white chocolate with Blueberries and raspberries (I think) and one milk chocolate with raspberries.

I too gave up chocolate for lent but decided DP's offer of MS berry chocolate yesterday was too much, It was sooooo good!

mmm,sounds yum - we have a ton of chocolate in the house,mostly Cadbury's,but there's also a Green and Blacks egg...I think I crave cheap choc. really - my last chocolate way back on Shrove Tuesday was some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups which are so fab...

I gave up chocolate for lent too! Unfortunately, I found the egg my dh had bought me the other day and ate it. I stil did pretty well though. Did you lose much weight?

not sure - probably not as I ate biscuits instead,though not as much as I would do if it'd been chcolate (if you understand what I mean !)

I totally understand what you mean. I bought myself a pack of light hob-nobs when I decided to give it up and only ate 2 of the things. I have had quite a lot of puddings though.

Cheap chocolate is sometimes the most satisfying.

In complete honesty I'm not actually that big a chocolate eater, altho towards the end of being PG I probably ate my own weights worth .

So... what's your favourite then? (Or should I start a new thread!!) :)

um, let's see - if it's a bar of choc,then I'm partial to Galaxy, but I love things like double deckers,star bars,walnut whips....all chocolate really - depends on my mood ! Have had my first taste today at 1pm - 2 mini Galaxy eggs from my son's Easter egg hunt in the garden !

I gave up shortbread. HAve already eaten a pack today!
DH also bought me a lindt lindor chocolate egg. Don't know if it'll make it to the end of the day....

I gave up tea, not in the same league as choc I know, but I was havving loads of cups a day. 1st year ever I think I never broke it, but finally had my longed-for cup this am... and wasn't that fussed really. Dh didn't get me an gg, so had to make do with knicking off the kids when they weren't looking
