Should I sell my wedding dress?

I have recently lost quite a lot of weight and am raising money to buy myself new clothes by selling stuff on ebay. The question is should I sell my wedding dress? I got married nearly six years ago and I don't think I have even looked at it in that time (it's at my mums).

Mmmm.. interesting question. I was going to sell my dress as soon as I got married, but two years on it's still up in the loft in it's box! Just never got round to it. Now I'm not so sure that I would sell it - but I know I;m never going to fit in it again - esp after having DS!!Grin so maybe I will... sorry not to offer help, but just wanted to let you know you're not alone~!

The problem with selling your wedding dress is that you won't get much money for it. Its more sentimental than valuable. My wedding dress is still at my parents in their loft, I got married in 1998.

Well I would - but I'm not very sentimental. I know some people like to hang on to them - my Mum still has hers.

I think it would be nice for someone else to have use of it (wedding dresses can be obscenely expensive - so you might make someone's day ebaying it) and you're (presumably!) not going to want to wear it again. Your decision to make though.
