How much would it cost to get the exterior of a (very) small house painted?

Ok as some of you know we are in the process of buying a house.

We are due to complete on Wednesday and I'm very excited . It is a very small semi-detached cottage and the outside has got horrible grey stippled render stuff (I have no idea what it is called).

Anyway the neighbouring houses have all painted theirs creamy colours and they look lovely and I want to get ours done but I was wondering how much it would cost.

I am fairly handy with a paint brush but it's the stippled stuff that will be difficult so I reckon it will be a job for professionals with some class of a spray machine? Anyone on hear have experience of this?

Oh and I would ask the neighbours where they got theirs done but the house has been sold and is empty atm.

You can buy Sandtex exterior wall paint which will do the trick. I wouldn't fork out if I were you....

MaryBS I think you might be right if it will cost that much. Must check out Sandtex and see if I could hire a spray gun thing.
