Finally dp and I have agreed on the invitations for our civil ceremony - we've made them, printed them off, done the letter and maps to go with them and bought the envelopes...

So why am I so nervous about posting them??!! didn't think organising your wedding was supposed to be scary!

Oh congratulations! It is nerve wracking - don't know why that should be, but it is. I had been with then dp for 7 years (and we already had ds1) before we got married - I had nerves, second thoughts, the lot. It was all fine on the day though. Best of luck .

Happiest day of our lives until ds was born (a bit in reverse for you I think!), we had a ball and I hope you do too.
Guests at our wedding, who have been together for n years and were the usual consummate fun guests, can finally get married too, having sat through so many services themselves.

really? that's good to know! seems silly to feel nervous when we've been together 14 years and haven't given it a second thought..! Just feels so..... definite once the invites go out!
