I'm on a mission but I think I need some help please.

I've just had a really great chat with my DM about my dad who died many many years ago when I was just a little tot.
I've suddenly in these last few weeks rather got it in my head that I want to find out everything about him. I've got work places, schools, friends names etc but I just dont know how to go about it. I dont really know what I'm looking for which might make my search quite hard but I just have this rather strange new feeling (he's been dead 35 years!) that i want to know more.

Any ideas anyone as to what i should do next?

how about freinds reunited if you know what school he went to they also do what road you lived in as well.

I was probably being thick but on Friends Reunited i couldn't work out how to look at a school other than one I went to. I'll try and get in contact with Bubblerock or do a search for some of her oprevious postings. thanks both.

if you are registered with them go to your home page. above the name of your school it says find click on that and then it lets you search

well I've made a start twokids (thansk for teh info). I've just e mailed a guy who I think would have been the year below my dad (there were no entries for his year). Huge shot in the dark of course but it's a start.
Now I just need to try and find out about when he was in the army. I only know he was in the Royal Army Corps but not which regiment - anyone know how I go about checking that out??
