Thinking of having my first bikini wax, and was just curious what brave uninhibited souls on mumsnet have gone the whole hog?

You mean a Hollywood ? I did ..... once. But found that not all the hairs came out and had to spend ages in back-breaking contortions trying to pluck the stragglers out from very inaccessible places.

Yes ... it was embarassing. Had been asked to wear a thong, which I was then instructed to keep moving about so all areas could be reached. Guess that was that particular therapists way of maintaining a little bit of dignity, as, the middle bits IYKWIM weren't on open display. However, must admit was surprised at this as all I'd read about the procedure before seemed to imply you stripped off completely - however embarassing that was.

An ordinary bikini wax is, by comparism, a doddle, pain wise.
