Anyone care to join me? Have started running again in earnest last week and this week have clocked up 17 miles. Was planning to make it up to 20 by running tomorrow but managed to bash knee on door frame when rushing to ds (who'd fallen off wall in garden) and it's so sore and swollen. TYPICAL! Would I be mad to try and do a little run on it tomorrow...?

Anyone else just starting ro run again/for first time?

Wow, that's fantastic! That's a very speedy time!

I did the windsor half marathon a few years ago before I moved here. I remember it was really nice running through the park, at the time I thought it was hilly though, lol, in those days I didn't know what hill was! It would be a really nice first half marathon to do I think.

Maybe we should join the runners thread in Health instead! For me it is more about sport than health though (and its a bit busy over there).

Yup, I heard Windsor is hilly, which is a bit of a worry, as I like FLAT. Though presumably if there are some horrible UPHILLS, there must be some nice DOWNHILLS too!

Have decided to slope off to the \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=138&threadid=171555&stamp=060509112306\other running thread} given things have gone a bit quiet here ....
