i cancelled my car insurance last nov and ive got 5 yrs NCD

if i take on a new car insurance... will my new car insurance contact my old car insurance or should i have a copy of my Ncds cert?

I think we have generally needed a copy of our NCD years. You can request it from your past insurance company.
