Do you walk on the right or the left?

My instict says left, but my brain says right - because then you can see the oncoming traffic, but it feels wrong! Does anyone the highway code rule thingy?

(This post is in the spirit of my non silent non protest which involves posting lots to make up for the dafties)

you walking on the side where you can see oncoming traffic - also makes it easier for them to see you - particularly in the dark as your eyes would light up in the headlights - bit like a startled rabbit

But my instincts make me want to walk on the other side it's weird, must be because my brain thinks that steering a pram is like driving a car or something...

When I did the Highway Code it said to work on the side facing oncoming traffic.

Deffo face the cars coming towards you
