Wedding present for a couple who are marrying abroad?

Hello, need some ideas for a wedding present for sister-in-law who is getting married abroad. They haven't got a list and their holiday/wedding is all paid for so can't give vouchers. We would like to get them something a bit different but are stuck for ideas. Doesn't have to be expensive just something that is special.

How about a nice journal for their photos, thought and any other mementos they collect whilst there?

or someting related to where they are getting married?

what about a weekend get away for the UK so they can take it sometime when they get back...

second the journal idea - fab idea too.

Journal / photo album always good, because if you get more than one, you don't need to use them all for wedding stuff - ditto picture frames.

For Something Different I've tended to give art - either hang-on-the-wall type or handmade fruit bowl / serving plate etc - can be great fun choosing something you think the couple will appreciate.

or you can't go wrong with a nice otter...

LOL at the Immodium, think I'll get that as a jokey present and tell them to open when they get there Grin
Also like the idea of a journal, although I'm not sure they'll put it to good use. I think I may plump for the photo album idea, will try and source something online that's a bit different from the norm.

Mrs Badger - a nice Otter?? Grin
