it's not that big a deal....

he's moving to new house week after next and wants kids there over Easter.

says the drive to his parents is too long - agree (3 to 3 1/2 hrs each way) but his new house is likely to be 2 hrs 45 mins each way so not much in it

so he wants to take kids to new house & new gf neither of which hes told them about. If they are moving that week, surely Easter weekend they'll be trying to get house straight & will prob be quite stressful so not exactly great for the children.

I know he only wants them there so he & gf can get on with their lives together rather than once a month having to be apart. I expect after 3 visits to his parents, hes bored with that. Last year we SAW his parents a grand total of 2 weekends in the entire year because H couldnt be bothered to drive up there or have them down.

on top of this, theres a good possibility I will lose my job - outsourcing

Am posting now cos he'll be at work & I think he only found me last time cos he happened to log on while I was on.
I am thinking of a new name though and will do what COD suggested when Ive thought of one I like.

MM. I would be very worried about suddenly introducing a new girlfrined for thekid. They need to be secure in daddys new home before suddenly f inding someone else in his bed. If he wants to have them over easter then fne but not with ehraround. that has tocome slowly. eg for lunch one day.

God he has moved fast. Theya are moving in together??

ggglimpopo · 03/04/2006 08:00

Mrs M - my msn is gggglimpopo at hotmail dot com

mistressmiggins · 03/04/2006 08:02

they've been living together for at least 2 months maybe right from beginning
he gave me their address cos he wanted me to pick up his prescription & send it there

my H cant be alone - hes only been without a woman for 6 weeks and that was between previous woman he bought a house with and me

he has had ample opportunity to tell DS about his gf but he hasnt - I know he hasnt as DS would have mentioned it
I did sow the seeds to DS about 2 months ago and he said "I wouldnt like daddy to get a new gf as he wont love me"

H has no idea. All hes thinking about is new house with gf and kids there so they can get on with their new home. Makes me so jealous and angry.

I wqas going to suggest that he starts bringing HER up when he comes for the day to introduce her.

What can I do?
I think that if I refuse he will start getting nasty and threaten to cut money and with my job worries, I wont be able to afford the house.

mistressmiggins · 03/04/2006 08:05

thanks gggg - have added you to MSN

have to go off line now as my day off so got things planned with kids

will be back tonight

just as you think you're coping, the next hurdle hits you

I honestly only have kids interests at heart - its nothing to do with not wanting HER near them - although obviously I hate her - I just think its too soon and should be more gradual

OP posts:
ggglimpopo · 03/04/2006 08:05

Don't get cross - you will get petulant and petty.

Sit down coldly and write a plan - your kids needs and what you want and how it should be organised ie kids need stability, not too many changes at once, gentle intro to floosie etc. What you want (ie to meet the woman who will have some input in your kids lives) and how you feel it should be organised - ie she comes to you first. Then make your list succinct and send it to him. Then you can have a vodka and cry. But not before.

Uwila · 03/04/2006 08:52

Hi Miggins. I'm on msn too, if you ever want to pop in and say hi. uwila at hotmail dot co dot uk. I leave it on often, but also se to busy. If it is normal working hours (until about 6:00pm) I am probeably at work and won't be able to chat. But any other time is fine.

And Mr Miggins, you are an utter and complete arse and no one here thinks otherwise. Go away.
