Do you put cast iron pan stands from the stove top in the dishwasher?

I'm taking about the big heavy cast iron things which the pans sit on. Mine are not enamelled.

No - and mine are enamelled - it never occurred to me to try it, maybe I will now!

I think plain cast iron would rust a bit though, like the bottoms of le creuset pans - though you could rub that off afterwards.

Yes, I worried about rust but then I though, well they get water spilled on them during cooking and it doesn't seem to rust.
