Songs with a childs name in them.

My dd2 was 2 last week, and my sister bought her a really good present. It's a CD with lots of songs on it featuring her name. So, it is like the person is singing it specifically to her. She absolutely LOVES it, and dd1 and ds are quite jealous and want their own ones now!! Has anyone else come across these, and do you children love them too?

Ah yes, DS has one of those. He got it for his first birthday and wasnt really bothered by it, not surprisingly really. Hes 2.4 now, I'll dig it back out and see what his reaction is now.

HAMLEYS do them if you are after them - they make them up for you while you wait and have a couple of editions available. They type in the name so can do even the most obscure ones. They are really cute and it made me all emotional when I heard them signing songs about my little boy - but he was only 10months and didn't really give a damn!! but will get him one when he is older!!!

Yes I have one got it from The Great Little Trading Co when she was a baby - she is nearly 4 now and still loves it!!
