If they have, did their class friends do or make anything for them?

Mine are too little, but both times we were on a general post op ward in a children's hospital all the little kids had cards or more imaginative things from their classmates...why d'you ask? Has your wee one been left out? I hope not!

no, my kids have nto been in hospital. I work in a school and a child is going into hospital to have a 2nd operation. The first time, we all did a card with a picture from each of the children in the class, it was really nice.

We want to do something different this time but not sure what so am looking for ideas. I was thinking about recording a tape with messages from the rest of the class and maybe decorate the tape cover. Still not sure but we only have a couple of days to decide.

Oh a tape would be fab! Or an absolutely gigantic poster that everyone on the ward can see a mile off - que a very smug face for the rest of the stay!

thanks for your help, I knew the answer to anything can be found on MN!

I know I have a blank tape here somewhere, I put it in a safe place wherever that might be! I can get some paper at school to do a poster for him. Wonder if we have time for photos with silly faces to cheer him up?!
