Who can I give soft toys to?

We are drowning in soft toys! I think dd1 and dd2 received about 15 over the last fortnight, in addition to the 30+ we already own. So I really, really need to get rid of some - who can I give them to that would really have use for them? And would you do the same? MIL thinks I should keep them for later - but surely 15 to 20 soft toys will ALWAYS be enough, who on earth needs about 50 to play even the wildest games?

We also have loads and I do need to sort them out soon. Practically we don't have the room for them all and DD is only 20 months. Not sure whatto do with them yet though - maybe a charity shop? or the local children's hospital?

charity shop??
children's homes??
local playgroup??

I was going to suggest A & E. When ds1 cut his head open we ended up at A & E and there was a box of toys in the cubicle - he took to a small pink flamingo with a big black beak and insisted on bringing it home...I always felt a bit guilty and meant to take them some more.

(BTW he was 4 at the time - he is 15 now so I thought I'd better point that out! It's still here though...)

What about a women's refuge? I'm sending all my baby stuff to one once I've finished with it.

Janh, that's an impressive amount of time to not get around to something! As a major procrastinator, I'm impressed
