How to keep bib out of his mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My ds is 7 months and recently been off his solids - anyway that seems to be picking up now but have a new problem which is driving me MAD!

While sitting in his highchair he constantly trys to stuff his hands/bib/anything into his mouth at the same time as me feeding him! Do your babes do this?
Any ideas? Apart from tying his hands up?

Not really much you can do jmum - all babies do it at some stage or other. I remember wishing I had three hands - one to control each of dd's andanother to feed her...it's a phase which will pass!

And he does it with such a twinkle in his eye!!

Just given him his tea and the little darling is stuffing hands and bib in at the same time AND laughing at me!! More food on the floor then in mouth!
It's my fault I suppose as I keep laughing at him!

have you thought of buying one of those plastic pelican bibs? Fairly certain he can't get that in his mouth!
