he has soemthing called ob-site (thats what it sounds like anyway) over his non-adhesives dressings. its like a great big piece of clear sticky plastic. anyway one day i overheard him and thought he'd said gob shte so since them its stuck as a sort of private joke.

today his VAD nurse popped her head rund the door to ask what the district nurse would need for the dressings, Peter actually said Gobsh*te and not ob-site to her. she laughed, thank goodness (i was on the phone at the time).

lol. I know the stuff, is it a Colloid (sp) dressing, designed to make the wound heal extra quick and reduce scarring?

no, its just something to keep the dressings in place. he is now moaning as the district nurse used 3 large packs instead ofr 3 small packs. its not been trimmed so he has a plastic coated belly and side lol.
