WHy? I do that all the time here in summer, our bin is usually full of them.

KBear · 19/03/2006 13:37

were they aiming at your car? that used to happen to us alot.

misdee · 19/03/2006 13:38

yup, they hit the front screen on my car. i saw them run into the rd a few seconds before i got there to pick the ball up.

so its now flat.

sparklymieow · 19/03/2006 13:39

did you stab it or was it run over??

Radley · 19/03/2006 13:39

Ours kick them at our windows, cars, plants in garden, anything really.

cod · 19/03/2006 13:39

we have a rule of soft ( ie bouncy ) balls on our road) leather ones for the park

id be careful they dont charge you wiht theft.
id nto take one off kids ever tbh

sparklymieow · 19/03/2006 13:41

we had a huge problem here last year with leather footballs, you should see the dents in my car from them... grrrr

misdee · 19/03/2006 13:42

think my tyre caught it.

they can charge me with theft if they want. i;d rather be charged with theft than have an accident occur cos some idiot teens were throwing leather footballs at cars.

do you "intend to permanenlty deprive" missdee?

Kathy1972 · 19/03/2006 13:42

Wow, Misdee, I'm really impressed - I thought these days everyone was too scared of getting beaten up by the parents and having their windows smashed to tell off other people's children Wink

misdee · 19/03/2006 13:43

i was driving at the time cod. they were purposly throwing it as cars as they went past. they were hiding in the bushes.

OP posts:
sparklymieow · 19/03/2006 13:43

misdee · 19/03/2006 13:46

Misdee, have you thought about contacting the street wardens (their phone number is on the coucil website) they will have a word with the kids.

sparklymieow · 19/03/2006 13:47

I knwo your area is covered by the street warden, as is mine.
