Admittedly not my finest moment/best behaviour...coming out of shop with dh, ds and dd in trolley. Stepped onto edge of zebra crossing as there was a gap but she speeded up. Mouthed "thanks!" sarcastically, to which she gave us evil looks. Then Blush I gave her a little 'wave', of the two fingered variety Blush don't know what came over me- red mist I guess. She and her passenger were doing much more back in the mirror, then as we were packing the car she came to find us! Shock Luckily kids were in car, dh was with me, and I was very polite (bit late). She was old enough to be my mother Shock and very orange. Why do the comebacks only occur to you when the time has passed??! Must stop kicking off with people, even whn in the right

i do that all the time - open my mouth without thinking but never think of the witty one liners until i am at home fuming! people like that should be put in their place anyway. well done you - you wer only protecting your family

threelittlebabies · 18/03/2006 16:31

CD- I know!!! Grin Dammit. Told her to get a life and let it go- as if she was that stressed about it that she HAD to find us. Narrowly avoided telling her she should know better at her age!
