Need some advice, I have been selling some trainers for older boys, they are brand new and still in packaging, I sold 7 pairs without any problems, I sold a pair to this person and left feedback as they paid etc etc, now she is saying that its not the correct size its at least 3 sizes bigger, I know this is a load of rubbish as all sizes were the same as I checked them, she sent first email demanding money back, when I email and asked her to send measurements of shoe, I got an email saying that they ordered the wrong size and can they exchange them, I said that I do have a smaller size but as it is her error she needs to pay return postage and also postage for me to send the correct ones out to her. They are now back on the old "they are too big and I want a refund" and will not a pay a penny more. I am worried that they are going to leave negative, but I am not prepared to fork out for them to return them and pay for items to be sent back, it costs £3.50 ish as they are heavy. Any advice, can I report them to ebay if they leave negative and get it removed etc etc. i was enjoying selling on ebay earning a few extra £££'s until they came along :(

you wont be able to do anything if they leave you negative. Its really best to wait until you ahve received fb before leaving it. Sad Personally I would risk the negative, it's not worth the hassle and the cost to avoid it. Plus its the principle of the matter. If they do leave negative you can follow up on what they say and also on what you said on theirs. A negtive here and there doesn't do much harm anyway.

buyer beware, if you advertised a size as it is on the shoe, you have offered the best shot, return at her cost for exchange
Take the hit if its the only one you can take it and you can leave follow up under the feedback to explain.

Doesn't Ebay do a mediation service for buyers and sellers? You could start with that. Doesn't sound like you've done anything wrong. If she does leave you negative though you have a right of reply below her text too.
