coop have become cr*p since they dispensed with their local agents and centralised. Inefficient and hard to get hold of anyone accountable. Shame, they have always been good on price.

We were with esure who were fine. Claimed and they paid etc all okay

Now moving to Norwich Union but through a broker

Moneysavingexpert.com can point you to the cost comparision sites

I highly reccomend Liverpool Victoria. They are pretty reasonable in price but the reason I will always stay with them is that they were fantastic when we had a break in anad had to claim.

I got everything new for old, no quibbling, the day after the break in they phoned me 4 times to check on things like the locksmith had been when he was supposed to.

we are with Barclays insurance and have always found them very good especially at the moment as our garage was broken into over the weekend and quite a bit was nicked. They're dealing with it all very efficiently

I'm with barclays too, when my gas BBQ was stolen out of my garden, they replaced it no worries, and when my kids switched off my freezer, I had a cheque within a week to replace the food.
