I did the same thing. DH and I got the biggest laugh about it. The really cool thing is the guy lives only about 60 miles from me, so maybe some day we will actually meet!!!

told him that if the day ever came that I had to teach creationism in a science lesson I would also feel obliged to teach his creation myth! LOL

So witty, and such an amusing counter to ID!

What makes it even more amazing is where he comes from is a mostly made up of religious-right Bush-supporting, we love our troops, conservative older crowd (same as here) where Flying Spaghetti Monsters would be seen as extreme blasphemy.

Although maybe amazing isn't the word, it could be a direct response to his surroundings, I guess.

Thank you for reminding me about this. I kind of forgot about it (and a lot of other things) after DD was born due to extreme sleep deprivation.
