The reason I joined MN was because of a thread like this. So here goes.

I have a size 4 pair of Girls DC trainers, they are brand new in the box, black and cerise pink. They would make a fantastic Birthday or Christmas present. Please don't ask for them just because you want them, I want someone who needs them for their DD to have them. :) PM Me :)

Yay, my kickers have found a new home, and will now stop looking at me accusingly!

Hello all

First mini sort out as follows, I would like these to go to people that won't car boot them etc but will find use for them. :)

Boys Adidas trainers, size 4 black with white stripes - worn but still got wear in them.

Boys brand new Haywire jeans, dark blue with haywire in big letters across the bum. Size 27w approx age 12. DSS had these for Xmas, and grew out of then before wearing. Would make an excellent Xmas or birthday present.

George at Asda autumn coat age 9-10. Camo green with detachable hood, nice and thick but not waterproof. Worn twice tops.

Schwarzkopf xxxl live ultra violet hair colour. Everything there apart from the box as it was used one midnight to rescue a live mouse that then pooped in it :) instructions and colour all there though. Ivecswitched colours so it's in need of a new home.

Maybe a bit late, but two pairs of really good quality age 11 school trousers, loads of wear left but one pair will need a few stitches in the crotch area due to goalkeeping heroics.

Anyone interested let me know :)

I have a pair of brown boys boots in size 11. Have never been worn as DS grew too fast. I believe they were bought from tesco. Happy to pay postage to anywhere in UK if someone needs them.

Valpollicella · 10/09/2012 21:29

Lego Book gone :)

Will have a hunt for more stuff

bogeyface · 10/09/2012 21:32

Stacks and stacks of washable nappies.

All sizes and lots of wraps, some quite worn but would do for spares, others practically brand new.

Ideally would like someone to come and have a sort through and take what they want rather than list and post as postage would be £££, so would host a coffee morning (perhaps for Womens Aid?) if there were enough interested MNers. Would give the nappies for a donation to WA.

Am in Derby/Staffs/ Leics borders (seriously, bang on all three!) :) so pm me if you are interested and I will arrange something.

chipmonkey · 10/09/2012 21:32

I have 50 Lansinoh breastmilk storage bags. Any takers?

bogeyface · 10/09/2012 21:33

In fact.....if there are enough interested people I can use a village hall, so we could do a swap shop/buy for charity thing.

The village is Newton Solney if that helps decide whether you could make it!

PatFenis · 10/09/2012 21:36

I have a pair of little boys formal shoes from Rossha- size 6 - would be perfect for a wedding/ christening if anyone would like them ...send a PM :)

Worn once for a christening and still in their original bag.

HappySunflower · 10/09/2012 22:03

Sad I missed out on the KICKERS though.

Great thread, will have a look for what I've got.

heymammy · 10/09/2012 22:24

superscrimper I have a very pink child's bike, I think it's a 14", would this be any use? Am west end-ish, just let me know as happy to give it away.

IvanaNap · 10/09/2012 22:30

Fading I thought the exact same with the "knickers" Grin

TheFutureMrsB · 10/09/2012 22:44

Oooh, this is a fab thread. Will have a look through my stuff tomorrow! Pretty sure I have a pair of navy/blue star wars curtains think in a 54 drop. Will check to be sure I didn't put them in the charity shop bag, but if they are still here I will post again in the morning typical blonde .... Sooo forgetful!

bogeyface · 10/09/2012 23:41

ellie fear not, there will be cake and Biscuit :o

stella47 · 11/09/2012 02:02

Haha - yes "rehome your old knickers with Mumsnet" - I wonder why that hasn't caught on?

MiniMonty · 11/09/2012 02:45

If you have surplus toys you should drop into your local church hall and find out if they run a toy library (a lot do).

Mibby · 11/09/2012 05:20

Could probably make that bogey assume toddler dd would be welcome?

bogeyface · 11/09/2012 11:20

Yep Mibby :)
