it was very strange i was lying in bed and just knew i was about to have a baby so i pushed i even felt the pain of the baby crowning. my mum was there and helped but the baby didnt survive and looked very small. i could see the detail in her face and then woke up shaking and crying. still cant get it out my mind

are you currently expecting?

i have a friend who is 8 months and is having disturbing pregnancy dreams. i try and comfort her by saying its just nature's way of making you very aware of the baby and his/her safety.

:( i hope you're feeling better now

Starshaker I had a dream the other night that my 3yo dd had died and in my dream, I was in tears deperately trying to write down everything about her so that I would forget nothing.

So traumatic. Still can't stop thinking about it...

Oh SS that must have been awful, but please remember it is only a dream and doesn't mean anything. Have you got some similar situation on your mind?

Eve2005 · 14/03/2006 12:54

had a dream just like that before dd was born, she was born just fine a week later. i think it's just you brain trying to prepare you for every possibility. try not to let your mind dwell on it or it may become a recurring thing.

no im not even pregnant although its 6 years ago this month i miscarried for the second time maybe that had something to do with it

o i'm sorry starshaker. didn't mean to put my foot in it. Blush i'm so sorry about your baby, do you do anything on the anniversary to remember it? maybe lighting a candle or something just to try and make peace with the pain the miscarraige caused you. sometimes bad things need to be remembered before your subconcious will let you get past them. so sorry again Sad

lunarx · 14/03/2006 15:00

im sorry for your loss, starshaker:(
i would assume that has something to do with it.. i agree that doing something special to remember your baby is a good idea....

Jackstini · 14/03/2006 15:41

So sorry SS - that may be it. Maybe you could plant something in memory of your baby that blooms this time of year. Hopefully a nicer reminder will stop these dreams for you (((hugs)))
