DS1 has been cited for jury duty on same day as wedding - will he get excused

has he asked to defer before?

if not, he has a reasonable chance. put in as immediate a request as possible.

Should say he is an usher at my sister's wedding. Have written to Sheriff Court and am hoping they will let him off this time.

sorry - I was assuming it was his wedding. most unlikely if someone else's.

He has only turned 19yrs. Never been called before

My Mum was excused from Jury Service - she was called for the week before my wedding. As far as I know she just told them and they called someone else - she hasn't been called again and I got married 4 years ago.
