Im coming to Dorset for a funeral next week, whats the weather like? Will I be freezing? Do I need a big winter coat? I'm coming from Southern Spain by the way.

It's freezing and some areas have snow. But it could easily be spring-like and warm by next week!

FrayedKnot · 03/03/2006 23:02

Yes, it's pretty cold atm.

Snow in lots of places.

Sorry it's for a funeral Sad

LadySherlockofLGJ · 03/03/2006 23:02

I would have said yes, if the last week is anything to go by, sorry it ended like this.

Much love

LGJ

Well it's snowing in Sheffield this evening. Forecasters keep saying 'cold' and words like 'minus'. don't know about Dorset, and don't know next week's forecast, but I would want a warm coat on standby at the very least!

JanH · 03/03/2006 23:03

It is bloody cold atm and the forecast isn't a lot better - I would bring a big coat just in case.

Sorry you have to come for a funeral, LucySad

And will DSIL be there? How are things with her?

zippitippitoes · 03/03/2006 23:47

It is cold, is this for your PIL funeral?

I hope you can have a certain amount of reconciliation..my thoughts will be with you

xx

lucy5 · 03/03/2006 23:55

Dsil is refusing to speak to anyone and has hit the roof because someone phoned police to get information on what had happened. The outside Uk siblings have been talking which is good but funeral going to be very difficult for them as sil is making all sorts of wild accusations. Ive decided to keep out of it completely and keep completely out of her way.

Despite it being freezing cold i would still bring a pair of sunglasses, because (in London at least) it has been VERY sunny lately. It would be impossible to drive without them.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 04/03/2006 09:52

Good point Maple Leaf.

AggiePanther · 04/03/2006 09:55

SecondhandRose · 04/03/2006 19:09

Yes Lucy, it's bloody freezing. Surely some rellies must have some bits you can borrow.

lucy5 · 04/03/2006 19:18
