Good question. Dunno! I think that you're probably all right without, given that children are all there in their parents' (or childminder's) care. It might just depend on the room you use, and whether they have any specific requirements.

I co run a Pand T group and only have v basic first aid traingin.

cde46, I run a parent and toddler group and have no first aid training, i was required to get a CRB check done though. I'm not sure if that is a standard requirement though or if its just my employers
