Have you seen those ringtone adverts? It sometimes plays them on there.

They do all sorts of different ones like celeb quotes or famous sayings.

I am very puzzled that mocking Indian accents is acceptable, when mocking, say, Black American accents has stopped being acceptable.

Even the Simpsons, which is otherwise a pretty right-on sort of show, does the mocking-Indians thing. The Black people on the show talk like everyone else, but the Indian guy?

I didn't think this ring tone was funny, but I think Apu is hilarious. Indians are generally thickskinned enough to take anyone mocking our accents. No biggie, in my view.
