Sign the petition to stop debt adverts on childrens' television channels. Angry

Spent the morning with my little one and was amazed by the amount of loan/debt adverts on childrens tv and remembered seeing this a while ago.

One of the reasons dd isn't allowed to watch Nick Junior.

I can't get onto the site to sign at the moment but when I can I will sign.

I have used these ads to explain to my 6yr olds about how you should save and not get into debt. I am appauled by them seeing ad after ad for borrowing. It dawned on me one day that because we never talked about it they could believe that debt was normal and ok. This is then compounded for teenagers when they are forced into debt by the government if they want to go to university.
And we wonder why so many people are in debt. IMO this is a timebomb.
