I prefer Owen to Christopher.

I like them but don't like it when christopher is shortened to Chris.

Christopher will get shortened to Chris, if you don't mind that then you'll be okay.

Not sure about Owen but everyone has their own tastes don't they?

Love Owen. Would only choose Christopher if I was happy to have the name shortened. DH never gets Christopher and it sends his mother around the bend. (Also, his full name never fits on any forms so he is oftern Christoph or Christophe but our Surname is a long one as well...)

Glad to see that both my names get quite a positive response. I am currently 26 weeks and expecting a boy and finding it very hard to decide on a boy's name. I was so looking forward to naming a girl Matilda, but that won't happen now... oh well.

Don't mind Chris for Christopher, and Kit is nice - I didn't know that that was short for Christopher.

hi love the name owen but that is because ds2 is called that.
really suits his name and cant be shortened which is a bonus
