That FCUK ad' - is it just me?

Those of you who know me will know that I'm a pretty open minded, liberal individual - so why does the current FCUK ad' make me want to write to the ASA? Am I the only one who isn't getting the message? All I can get from it is that FCUK customers beat the hell out of each other and that it is the brand of choice for psychotic lesbians gone mental. I don't have a problem with girls kissing - oooh... hardly controversial - but why the mindless violence? I can't recall an advert where men beat each other to a pulp in this way. I don't think it does the brand any favours and I find it deeply offensive. Anyone agree or am I just letting this horrendous flu from hell get the better of my brain?

im anti violence and i dont agree that it should be used for an advertisment . your not on your own .

There was a thread about it the other day and someone pointed out that because it is so outrageous it's getting them talked about which is the whole point of adverising.

IMO, it is vile and unessecary.

I dunno if it's successful advertising just because it's being talked about. It adds nothing to the brand - although maybe it will become essential wear for happy slappers? (And I don't mean wanton women in a good mood.) If anything, it puts me off buying their clothes.

Haven't seen the ad but wouldn't buy any of their clothes anyway simply because of the way they play on the f word. Does that make me a miserable old prude? Don't care

Well yeah, am kind of past the point of life where I think it's an amusing play on words and want to have it emblazoned across my chest.

I stopped shopping after they launched the fcuk thing - just don't buy from them - they may fold soon as are getting poor trading results
