Am thinking of some sort of budget holiday for myself and two small boys (aged 5 and 2 yrs) this year and was thinking of buying a tent. I'm confused by the differnt types and features out there though - what features should I be looking for in a good tent? I presume a
Should I buy little beds as well?
What small things make the difference?
What is PU rating and what should I be looking for?

I haven't been camping in years so treat me as a complete novice. I think the boys would love it though.

Damn, Lucy I nearly booked there myself! Bugger! We could have had a mini meet.....colorado owners only

we got ours on Ebay. I wouldn't spend a lot in case you hate it. Ebay is full of (and your local newspaper) people who buy tents in July and then never go again! Then they sell it the next year as it gathers dust.

you need a portaloo! (or large potty if you have small kids or a bucket with a lid!!!)>

Oh you also need a GSOH (good sense of humour)

No but I've seen it I think. Is it the one near Wells next the Sea? There is a little train that runs up and down the estuary to get to the town!

Looks nice
Was fully booked last time I tried to book there!
