just watching it on channel 4. my 2 are only little, how do things get that bad?

My wonderful DD (15) says it's soooo unfair that you have to be a brat to get sent to such fab wilderness experiences, & can I send her please

I could recommend a few of her school colleagues though!

When the 1st series was on my eldest dd was 9, and I could really imagine that we would end up wanting to send her somewhere like that. Now she's 11 I'm pleased to say I watch it and think things could never get that bad! It's been a sort of annual barometer of how things are going in our house.

Yes - and it scares the pants off me. I used to think that DS would be the one in need of it, given his behaviour as a toddler and upwards, but he has calmed down a lot, and my lovely, easy-going DD of nearly 7 is beginning to show signs of being related to the Tasmanian Devil. Oh God, I hope not....
