I want to make a ball pool for my tall almost 7 year old that isn't 800 quid and is deep enough for him. From the picture these look as if they have quite high sides without being too large (needs to fit in a standard sized room that has a big exercise ball, small tampoline, etc in).

Anyone know whether these would work?

They're huge! At least the standard BPIABox is. Our playroom is a decent size and with a sofa and 2 bookshelves the room was pretty much full (with enough space to walk round 3 sides of the pool just about.) Sides are (IIRC), about 24 inches if you take the internal measurement which takes into account the padded floor.

Thanks soupy Hmm that sounds deep enough but maybe a bit big!

BPIABox do \ mini pool too. It has the dimensions on the site.

At risk of being shouted at again and accused of advertising...(!)

Dimensions
Shape Ellipsoid (Egg)
External max length 76" (193cm)
External max width 65" (165cm)
External height 28" (71cm)
Internal max length 56" (142cm)
Internal max width 45" (114cm)
Internal depth 26" (66cm)

So it really depends what size your standard size room is as basically it's almost 6.5 feet x 5.5 feet although as not square won't take up that much room iyswim.

Feel free to ctc me off board if you wish at sue at woollett dot demon dot co dot uk to talk further about how it might or might not work(promise I won't do any hard sell - it's not my style!)

oh thanks soupy- am thinking about that one- there's also a slight'y smaller one by someone else - but that may be too shallow..... the mini may be my best bet.
