M2T · 05/12/2003 15:13

Thought I'd start another one as the old one got very long!

Does anyone know what happened to Meanmum???? I haven't seen her post for a while. Has she perhaps changed her name?

Rachael17 - WHERE ARE YOU??

....and thats about it so far.

OP posts:
Bobbins · 24/12/2003 15:19

Well I'm blowed, after a short perusal I see WWW has sprogged as well...CONGRATULATIONS all you fecund ladies!

Bugsy2 · 03/01/2004 17:12

Hi Tigermoth, thanks for thinking of me. Have internet access at home, just haven't really had the will to contribute. So absorbed with grim domestic situation that I find it hard to think beyond my own life at the moment. Anyhow best wishes to all mumsnetters and their families for 2004 and very specially to all of you who were so kind and supportive last year.

tigermoth · 03/01/2004 20:03

bugsy, at last! You have been missed. I'm glad you have internet access, even if you don't want to post much. Really sorry you are still going through the mill with things at home. If you aren't up to saying more on the subject - don't feel you can't come onto here and talk about other things sometime.

I hope 2004 is a much, much better year for you.

Horse · 03/01/2004 20:36

Have always loved Lindy's wry humour - is she still here?

CountessDracula · 03/01/2004 20:38

Hi Bobbins, so glad to hear you're ok, I was wondering about you the other day xxx

Demented · 03/01/2004 21:46

Still looking for LEWEI?

MarinativityPlay · 03/01/2004 23:15

Really good to hear from Bobbins and Bugsy, wishing you both a better 2004...but still calling LEWEI. And RockingRosebud, Alibubbles, Manna, Clucks, Pamina...or did I miss some name changes?

JanH · 03/01/2004 23:19

Marina, alibubbles said she was ski-ing at Christmas and I think I've seen pamina briefly fairly recently. Not the others though...

JanH · 03/01/2004 23:32

I'm wrong about pamina, her last post was in Sept - unless she's added a number to her name since then? And I'm wrong about Clucks too, she was here briefly in Dec to welcome Ava Water Witch. Also manna - just once, looking for a womble! RockingRosebud, nothing since late November. I sometimes remember missing people but never when I'm actually here to post for them...

Stop Press - pamina3 also popped in to say hi to Ava (thought I remembered a number!)

GRMUM · 04/01/2004 12:40

Bobbins and Bugsy, hope that 2004 gets better and better as it progresses.XXX Lewei posted on the due March 2004 thread in Pregnancy section mid December.

Demented · 04/01/2004 15:02

Thanks GRMUM, I must of missed her will go and have a look.

Tinker · 04/01/2004 15:18

Happy New Year to you all, very touched to see that I'v ebeen missed and also that JanH remembered I'd gone skiing!

Had a great time, apart from DH damaging his meniscus on the first day and ending up on crutches. It was at the end of the day, hardly moving in deep powder, he hit an unseen rock and his binding didn't release. Fortunately we were at the bottom of the mountain, but he still got to ride in the Pompiers van, DD went with him to the clinic so she could practise her french on the dishy firemen!

Fantastic snow, fantastic chalet, champagne every night and the most amazing food. If you need a reccomendation for an hour from Geneva, let me know!

Children not back to school until the 12th, so I am off work till then, making the most of it, though I had an Ofsted inspection this morning!

errrr - wot's a meniscus?

Marina · 06/01/2004 15:31

I'm hoping it's a (non-crucial) bone, JanH...glad you had a nice time, alibubbles, and hope your Ofsted went well.

Tissy · 06/01/2004 15:32

GillW · 06/01/2004 20:57

Bayleaf?

Twink · 06/01/2004 22:20

Yes, Bayleaf, you are missed (again !)

Also ks seems to be absent lately, too involved in reading 'Eats, Shoots & Leaves' perhaps ?

If you're out there though, my dad has set us all a challenge to find all the real punctuation errors in the book as he has found a few classics.

JanH · 06/01/2004 22:30

Twink, haven't spotted any punctuation errors but keep blathering on about her "detonating a dam" - did your Dad spot that?

CountessDracula · 06/01/2004 23:53

Where is Sliverx2?

Twink · 07/01/2004 07:31

He hasn't mentioned that Jan but I thought he was going to have an apoplectic fit when he got to the bit where there was an address written in 2 ways, the second was supposed to be correct but the name was written

Mr X Y Name Esq.

As an engineer who scraped through English 'O' level, I can't comment but he wasn't impressed !
