interesting point mercy - but I do think that writing it down like that is one stage worse. what a nutter he must be!

JoolsToo · 18/02/2006 21:50

but it's a 'marriage document' and she still married him?

MerlinsBeard · 18/02/2006 21:50

only read the first page, wonder how long her periods lasted :-P

JoolsToo · 18/02/2006 21:50

otoh - as some have said - sounds like one big wind up

coppertop · 18/02/2006 21:50

What a self-obsessed tosser!

at the wife handing it over to the police.

lou33 · 18/02/2006 21:51

my american sources say this is a true story

OP posts:
sansouci · 18/02/2006 21:51

no, I don't think it's a wind-up. This guy needs a good thrashing from his mummy.

Twiglett · 18/02/2006 21:56

isn't this classic dominant - submissive though? if they got married I would assume the wife was into it .. wouldn't you?

Mercy · 18/02/2006 21:58

nightynight, yes it's the written affirmation that's so scary.

It's one thing thinking and another thing acting (upon those irrational toughts)

lou33 · 18/02/2006 21:58

it says in the blurb at the beginning he is up on charges of kidnapping her, and child porn as well

OP posts:
VeniVidiVickiQV · 18/02/2006 21:59

Agree twiglett.

sansouci · 18/02/2006 21:59

sicko bastard! the world seems to be full of them, unfortunately.

Nightynight · 18/02/2006 22:08

twiglett, no I wouldnt assume that she was happy with a submissive role. She may have had other problems in her life, and seen him as a rescuer, or she may not have realised the full extent of his wierdness until later.

Twiglett · 18/02/2006 22:17

but a marriage contract... does that not imply that she read it before she got married to him (whether she signed it or not)

Nightynight · 19/02/2006 08:31

I dont know enough details, but there are plenty of us on mn who are or have been, married to control freaks, and what we all have in common as far as I can make out from other peoples posts, is that we were fooled at first!
Then, there are often reasons why a person doesnt immediately leave a controlling relationship (kids, long gradual realisation of how awful it is, low self-esteem, poverty etc). So I would NEVER assume that a person is happy to be the submissive partner in a controlling relationship.

sunnydelight · 19/02/2006 10:47

I've just read it and I feel quite sick.

suzywong · 19/02/2006 11:33

but why is anal off the My Time list? Surely some mistake.

If I were her I would have the longest continual period in history.

I agree she must have had some inkling

suzywong · 19/02/2006 11:46

When travelling? When travelling? What are they, carnival artistes?
And it's at this travelling time that he is the most terrified of someone finding out she sleeps naked and the whole house of cards comes crashing down.

If it wasn't real it would be hilarious

mszebra · 19/02/2006 11:53

she must have known he was a complete weirdo before he bothered to write that out.
I still can't believe it isn't quite a pisstake...

staceym11 · 19/02/2006 12:22

hes fuking crazy, i cant believe anyone could think that that would be acceptable, he doesnt want a wife he wants a slave, id have beaten the sht out of dp if he'd have presented me with that!!!!

Nightynight · 19/02/2006 13:20

It doesnt actually say, but it sort of implies that the contract was presented to her because she wasnt living up to his idea of the perfect wife.

spacecadet · 19/02/2006 13:36

omg-what acomplete freak!

Nightynight · 19/02/2006 13:44

yeah, I feel guilty for thinking that dx is a mite overly controlling now
