Flamesparrow · 18/02/2006 12:29

alliep30 · 18/02/2006 12:30

i suspect pippin may be a mongrel But definitely has some tibetan terrier in her.

NatalieJane · 18/02/2006 14:06

You are right Ruty, Pippin is a cross breed

bran · 18/02/2006 14:13

I have a feeling that Pippin is a descendant of Benji (I'm really showing my age here), I can't remember where I heard that. It could be a different Pippin of course, as this Pippin isn't a particularly old dog but seems to have been around for over a decade.

Spidermama · 18/02/2006 14:27

I think Pippin is a bearded collie . I doubt very much she's a Tibetan terrier . I knew one very well and they're much smaller.

She's lovely though, that much I know.

Gingerbear · 18/02/2006 14:29

BEarded Collie. She is lovely, but they take an AWFUL lot of brushing and love the mud!

peachygirl · 18/02/2006 14:35

Bran is right
I also heard that Pippin is a descendent of Benji. Also the Pippin you see on the dog food adverts is actually son/daughter of Aunty Mabels Pippin, I once found a web thing about the trainer and it had all this in it (I was looking for a picture for work) but have never managed to find it again. I will look for all you pippin fans

alliep30 · 18/02/2006 15:39

just poached that info off a website.. i'd like to see a descendant of Digby the dog.. it'd be huge!

ruty · 18/02/2006 17:20

not the right colouring for a bearded collie and not long haired enough, in my expert opinion, of course!
