Why did I agree to have my 5 year old brother!! (or is he 6?? ) He argues with my 3 year old, who then gets frustrated and takes it out on the 22 month old...

They are doing my head in.

I cant even find my bloody house keys so we are stuck in the house all day. They have gone down some black hole along with my cash card, credit card and book that I am halfway through reading.

My house is too small for three kids (its too small for 2!! - the back room is full of boxes we havent unpacked yet! )

So far they have - got felt on the wall, broken a CD (ok so it was Westlife but thats not the point!) and done something to the freeview box so I cant even get cbeebies on!

So, moms of 3 - what do you do on rainy days?

(PS - am seriosly considering being sterilised so not to risk this becoming a perminate feature! )

I have next week to NOT look forward too
the dreaded half term

Spidermama · 15/02/2006 14:38

If you can't beat them, join them. Sit down on the floor and play. Don't make the mistake of trying to do anything for yourself. It's too upsetting.

Feistybird · 15/02/2006 14:38

stick a dvd on

kittyfish · 15/02/2006 14:39

Glass or several of wine?

jamiesam · 15/02/2006 14:41

Would they enjoy hide and seek (and not trash the house...) Not a mum of three, but my 4.5 and 2.7 ds's love it and if they have the run of the house, can burn off quite a bit of energy (although easier to find if everyone hides in same room) - you might have to chaperone the seeker??

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 15/02/2006 14:41

The have got a dvd on but prefer to ignore it and play tig

I wasnt supposed to be having him so didnt think of anything to do but my mom was working and her dh has been a prat and pissed off back to london (cause he is a selfish immature arse) so now he will be here all week - cant wait to see dh's face he has thurs and fri off work, little does he know im planning on dissappearing out!

probably my fault as I gave them sweets to make them be quiet but they just seem to have gotten a sugar rush and gone mad

Oh god - sympathies. The black hole you refer to may have more to do with the small people you mention than you know.

Mine have hidden things in all manner of places before, but the rule is , the missing items must not re-emerge until you have a) Lost the will to live looking for them b) Replaced them. Usually at great expense and inconvenience.

Had 3 under three at one point in my life. Am still twitching

Put their wellies on and raincoats and chuck 'em out in the garden.

Or if it's that bad, just chuck 'em out in the garden.....!

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 15/02/2006 14:49

hmmm I could do - its sunny here

although tht would mean i have to venture downstairs and into the noise again....
