rightmove.co.uk has a section, I think - but that's quite recent so might not be there.

Nbg · 15/02/2006 13:35

I've just made myself very sick looking at that.

Can't believe how much the prices have gone up!

Piffle · 15/02/2006 13:53

Nutty gimme the details I cna find out on upmystreet as am joined up to their special thing which allows you to see?

oooggs · 15/02/2006 13:54

have you found it yet nutty? I can look it up at work tomorrow (Land Reg) it may not have been registered yet.

janinlondon · 15/02/2006 14:00

These people have all sales to 31 December from Land registry: www.ourproperty.co.uk/

MamaG · 15/02/2006 14:04

Just realised I am EXTRA nosy - just spent 10 minutes looking up friends houses...

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 15/02/2006 14:10

My house is on there that we bought the end of july! The price it says it sold for is wrong though.

MrsBadger · 15/02/2006 14:44

think my local property people must be v slow in getting data to the Land Registry - the last one any of the websites have on file is June last year and I know at least three houses in my street have sold since then!
Gah! Was really looking forward to an afternoon of nosiness.

janinlondon · 15/02/2006 15:52

Tamba you should let them know - they ask for feedback if there are errors. If its an error at the Land Reg it could have implications I think? (Stamp duty/capital gains etc?)

littlemissbossy · 15/02/2006 16:15

nutty, to find out about a property only sold 2 months ago, you will have to apply to the land registry www.landreg.gov.uk and order a copy of the freehold title to the property it costs a few pounds - no more than £5 I think
the free sites - I use www.houseprices.co.uk - are always a few months behind

sunnydelight · 15/02/2006 16:39

You can also get them from www.upmystreet.co.uk They update quarterly so at the moment you can see up to Oct-Dec 2005.

nutcracker · 15/02/2006 17:51

Thanks everyone.

In the end we rang the state agents who told us that it had sold very close to asking price.

It was my aunts house but it got repossessed. She will however be entitled to any money left over once it is sold (which it is now) and she wanted an idea of how mch.
