Help how do I get smell of vomit out of sofa inner cushion?

dd has vomiting bug, has just thrown up all over cushion, although it didn't go through the cover properly it is a tad damp and smelly pukey [barf]

Have no febreze, need old grannyish type remedy - how about scattering with bicarb or talc and hoovering off?

NO! The inner cover doesn't come off and is stuffed with hollowfibre!

bicarb should work CD. If you mix up a paste of bicarb & water and apply it to the cushion and allow to dry, it "should" absorb the puke smell. In the morning rinse off with water & if there is still gross barfy smell, get a bottle of Febreeze!
