what happens? how does it all work im clueless when it comes to this kind of thing and i want to know what i need/ how to go about it.

we definatly cant afford to fully buy a house but we live in a tiny shoebox (2 bed) house with 2 dds aged 6mths and 6yrs its fine for now but im thinking in a year or two when dd1 will want her own space. So we need to think of something.

thanks

Is that where you pay 25% of the mortgage and rent aswel from the person who owns the 75%?

yeah im really interested as to how it works because we#re currently renting from housing association but we dont have the right to buy it and will be in need of a bigger place. i have asked to transfer aswell but as we have 2 girls i dont know if they will accept us.

Information on shared ownership

It's not as cheap as you might think, we looked into it and still can't afford to buy, but then we live in London so house prices are pretty ridiculous here.
