....I've just been looking around Netmums - whoah!! Totally different to here. Mumsnet seems so much easier to use. Think it's going to take me a long time to get the hang of that one. What do you think? Do you used any other mum sites?

It's very good for local listings of toddler groups/parks/soft-plays etc. I've posted a little on their talk boards but can't really be bothered getting really into it. I planned a local meetup on netmums but it was a disaster, as I trekked on a train and a bus to this park and hardly anyone showed up so that's put me off a bit. I post a bit on badmothersclub (it's good for meet-ups), and occasionally on babycentre, but MN is my main board

I love netmums for local stuff too, but for conversations and general info, mumsnet is best

No it's not going to kick off - I have sent lots of Sparkly vibes over it to make it calm, friendly and peaceful.

I like the work from home thread on Netmums - they allow you to introduce yourself and your website. There seems to be a lot of support for mums working in stuff like usbourne books, Avon etc... which I think could be useful.
