As I'm currently wearing a black short-sleeved T-Shirt with a Miffy rabbit outlined in metallic pink, I'm not really in any position to be casting any stones .

Have anyone seen those fleecy coats with polar bears or husky dogs all over them?

Blossomhill · 05/02/2006 19:31

Oh no MTS Miffy is allowed, very Jordan I have to say

wb - yes, hideous!

expatinscotland · 05/02/2006 19:33

Um, no. I'm too thin to wear such attire.

Those ones w/wolves baying at the moon. Yeah, that about sums up the people who wear that naff shite: barkers.

fisil · 05/02/2006 19:34

Like in The Apprentice. What was that all about?

mykidsmum · 05/02/2006 19:35

It makes my day when i see someone wearing one of those, I normally find it very amusing

Blossomhill · 05/02/2006 19:36

lol I kind of "know" someone at the school (only to see, not talk) who finishes her outfit with leggings (not the ones Kate Moss or Sienna wear) and high heels!

colditz · 05/02/2006 19:37

I worked with an old lady who got one for Christmas from her daughter, it had a pony on it. The look on her face was indescribable as she said "Goodness me, I don't think I'll ever get that cold!"

So even old ladies don't like them!

Blossomhill · 05/02/2006 19:37

Lazy clothes fleeces and leggings. I do have 1 fleece but try not to wear it unless at home

mykidsmum · 05/02/2006 19:37

see. what a great way to start the day, laugh at someone elses fashion catastrophe

4blue1pink · 05/02/2006 19:38

who would admit to it - it would have been more fun to start a thread in praise and see who comes out the woodwork!

Latz · 05/02/2006 19:39

My mum nearly bought one - shes 76 - told her i would disown her and took her out of the shop - was one of those posh garden centre places

Mirage · 05/02/2006 19:58

Ugh,hate them.Don't do cuddly toys either,even as a child I didn't like them.

Do you think that the people who wear those fleeces have matching blankets at home? Someone must by those naff blankets with puppies/ponies/wolves or native Americans on them.

My friend is a psychiatric nurse & says that she & her colleagues have a theory about grown people who are overly fond of teddies ect.I can't remember what it was,but will have to ask her now.

festiveface · 06/02/2006 18:53

i'd like to know what that theory is mirage??

cutsie · 06/02/2006 19:03

I object to you criticising my taste in clothing - I may not like yours but would not say.
My dh bought me one of these fleeces and he had the matching one (just sheep nothing offensive) and tbh a lot of people compliment us when we wear them together.
Can you and your dh say the same?

welshboris · 06/02/2006 21:05

Cutsie
They are horrendous

End of conversation

And they look even worse when worn in pairs

LIZS · 06/02/2006 21:12

Wolf Spirit fleeces et al are vile - saw them in our market the other day.

MrsMills · 06/02/2006 21:15

I'm still trying to work out whether or not cutsie is serious or not.

spursmum · 06/02/2006 21:18

Does my Tigger fleece count?

welshboris · 06/02/2006 21:19

spurs mum
please see other thread regarding winnie the pooh clothing

spursmum · 06/02/2006 21:20

Does it mean I have to find it? Ho Hum off I go....

cutsie · 06/02/2006 21:23

Now tigger is tacky.

Mine is high quality polartech fleece - probably above what most of you can afford.
