Do think you have to follow your instinct, but apart from appalling agencies, I don't personally think there is much to choose between them. I have heard complaints from mums from most agnecies, nearly everyone moans about not enough work etc and wants to here what kind of work your agency gets, but I believe it is swings and roundabouts.

Well I am amazed at this child modelling buisness I think every parent thinks there baby is amazing. I would love to send my pictures off to a agency but were do I begin I have no clues anyone can you help?

i wonder because some of the pictures are not up to standard (not the babies) too far, hazy, adults??? photocopies u name it. They should have had a selection process first!!!

i would just like to say that i agree with mykidsmum urban angels are a top agency that gets lots of high profile work.
we were in our first week of contract and had two calls one was for a commercial without casting, but unfortuately we couldn't make it. we have had regular calls with job offers one being for tesco and also got asked if we would go to egypt for a week for the tourist board but stupidly mine and dd's passports had expired. (so make sure yours are up to date you never know what might be offered.)
to every one still trying to make up mind on agency, surely you would be better off going with an agency that you know gets lot of work, i personally would be very unsure about going with the likes of i/k the website might be great and the people lovely but have advertising companies that need models ever heard of them are they well known within the industry that's the question i'd ask my self because if not then your gonna be paying out a lot of money and probably not going to get any work.
to everyone that went to u/a shoot i reckon most of you will get contract, after all you were already short listed from 100's of submitted babies so they must have thought that your babies had that certain look iykwim, fingers crossed for all of you

izzyrubi He is 18 months he has white blond hair and green eyes he is fab or I think so anyway !!!

Also if the babies parents know loads of people they're bound to get lots of votes but not neccesarily because its a good piccie

cyan, well done, your little man is beautiful, really cute, me and my mum were saying we bet he gets taken on i just had a call from urban angels, and they said they are giving lani a 6 month contract, im a bit confused by it, they said it was because she was nearly 1, and they usually take on younger babies? they said we will see how she goes for 6 months and if we can get her work we will give her a years contract. im really pleased though
lani is on the calpol thing, but iv not had a chance to search for her yet................

good luck to lani at least theyre upfront and u can now expect some work with them.

Just found my DD on Calpol site page 431, last row,Luisa age 28 months. Took ages to found her.

Izzy - Thanks! - your dd is also lovely, a real cutie! I missed out on UA intake for last October so will prob. apply in May for new intake. Have you decided who to go with yet? Sent off paperwork for AK but am a bit suspicious for some reason, and not sure whether to part with £100 as well.
