Runny nose - dd has a nasty cold but isn't ill with it just doesn't want to play (which means no mess today so feel redaundant)

White chocolate - my mum works for thorntons so has just dropped some white chocolate off for dd

chinnesse menu - how sad i said thankyou to the chinnese man when he posted his new menu then spent another 10mins talking about his new dishes - this was through the letter box by the way -never thought to open the door -

this has been the high light of my day - any one done anything intersting.

Here in the midlands it is a freezin cold day and we've got the teletubbies on

Oh Sickbucket, what excitement you have up there in the Midlands Was enjoying myself the here till smelt ds behind me and now off to change a nappy - in London the weathers dry, mild and bright after a wet windy weekend. Have a good day!

sickbucket · 24/11/2003 14:29

I havent done anything remotely exciting although I am feeling virtuous as Ive done ALL my ironing a first I think!

ThomCat · 24/11/2003 15:13

Well I feel virtuous when i rememeber to leave a note to ask my cleaner to iron the trousers I haven't worn for 8 months because they needed ironing!!!

OK - so talking of interesting things - I have something interesting that I'm doing tomorrow that I must, must, must share with you - ................. I'm going to Buck House!!!!
There's something I haven't done before and won't do again!! Maybe i should quicklyt add it to things to do before I die, just so I can tick it off!!!

CountessDracula · 24/11/2003 15:56

Why are you going there TC? Poke that twat Bush in the eye if you see him won't you? (or has he gone home?) And take care too, should think it isn't the safest place on earth to be.

ThomCat · 24/11/2003 16:08

The FIL is picking up his CBE ( or something??!!!!) It'll be in and out then on to lunch somewhere stuffy! He got an LVO last year and now this - honestly - he's already a bit too important in his head, i'll have to start curtseying when I go round now!

codswallop · 24/11/2003 16:09

I think I disagree wiht honors - what did he do?

ThomCat · 24/11/2003 16:14

40 years service to the BBC, was head of light entertainment - gave us the Young Ones etc etc - - controller of Radio 2 - took it out of dark ages and gave it 12.5 + million listeners a week, most listened to radio programme, and was royal liaison office for the BBC as well for years.

CountessDracula · 24/11/2003 16:15

Coddy do you disagree or just think you do?

codswallop · 24/11/2003 16:17

hmm think so - am not sure what I would do if offered one (!)

CountessDracula · 24/11/2003 16:17

Is that likely? If not I would go ahead and oppose. Could be embarrasing though if you ever do get offered one....

codswallop · 24/11/2003 16:18

dunno - you have to look at it form that perspective tho

ThomCat · 24/11/2003 16:21

Ha - I was going to ask you the same thing Coddy. I kind of know what you mean - they are handed out a bit freely - but if I was offered ne for being a fab mum (!!) then I think i might quite like it!!!

codswallop · 24/11/2003 16:23

oh yes = ok ill take it then

Angeliz · 24/11/2003 17:18
